Today Kiefer spent some time 3D building The Cuddlies from BabyTV, with lots of attempts at forming sentences about his favourite little characters. He was really stimulated by them, and the quiet space we’d found for him gave him room to explore, build and get those words going. Lovely to see him so engaged.
After eggs and homemade bread for lunch, we were off to horse riding therapy. Kiefer was excited… super excited!
It feels like a while since he’s been able to go, and he was more than ready to be back.
Although perhaps a little too ready!
With no daily energy-busting hike or free play session beforehand, he still had plenty of wiggles to get out. He was a little too fidgety for Rhys the pony today… next time we’ll make sure we have some time to regulate before horse riding, lad!
Rhys did enjoy you feeding him an apple Kiefer!
Afterwards, we headed to the farm shop to pick up some farm eggs and milk. We chatted with the farmer for a while before Kiefer had a good run around the field and got muddy. Just the sort of fun he needed…
And probably the bit we should have done before horse riding.
