Kiefer borrowed his little sister’s tab this morning and had several hours quiet, calm time, digital mindful colouring!
He sang to himself as the room was quiet, and he said to me a few times, “I like drawing.”
He was very calm for a long period of time and he took a lot from this down time.
He naturally moved onto reading using the Alphablocks Fun Run game on BBC CBeebies Learn app. He remains super calm, content and studious this afternoon as we play with his new bubble gun and balloons working on eye contact and small sentences, which he can now use next time we play.
I asked him if he wanted me to blow a big bubble or a small one.
“I want a big bubble please and thank you”
Before blowing a balloon, I counted 3,2,1 and…..
Kiefer says “Blow” with eye contact.
Repeated these many times and he loved it.
