Sundays are Church days and this week it was Sunday Club, where we continued looking at the story of Martha and Mary. There were two craft activities associated with the story, a biscuit face with icing and sweetie decorations, and an Origami biscuit box to cut out and colour in. Kiefer was not impressed with the icing, I think he thought everyone was eating PVA glue!
Later on he was watching the CBeebies programme B.O.T. and the Beasties, at one point he was rewinding it and replaying it, like he often does, but this time he modelled a word and got me to repeat it after him by first grabbing hold of my chin and turning my face toward him. The word was ‘trembling’ and he even broke it down into sounds for me so I could get it right.
