After a few days indoors, we needed fresh air and exercise.

Kiefer found an acorn to hug and climb on.

Then he found a real acorn!

We spelt out the word A C O R N.
For some unknown reason, Kiefer’s Spidey senses were tingling and he really was not enthusiastic about walking down Shirtneck ‘arry.

Apprehensive or not, down we went…

The rain started to come down for the second time on our walk, and the road turned into river!

And off we went towards Foulridge to pick up the main road back home for a late luncheon.

We found Kiefer was calmer after the walk and read the word acorn, writing it down on paper whilst holding the real acorn in his hand.
Maybe tomorrow we can draw an acorn or make one from play dough.
Great walk and learning Kiefer, picking up where we left off!
Later we did den-building and wrote ACORN everywhere!
