Kiefer got a froggie sticker for doing so well with his numbers workbook today.
He worked on shapes and colour sorting and addition, using his pencil to write his answer in the box and draw lines to the correct objects.
He has tended to struggle with subtraction but today we tried again and it seemed to click.
We used our fingers to get started with the concept and then Kiefer did the rest as if he had done it forever.
He used a pencil to write his answers.
Good work indeed!
He picks up concepts really quickly these days, but he was keen on getting his reward of a sticker and the TV remote.
He chose to watch Numberjacks!
So impressive to see Kiefer do a little more academic work each time but it takes a complete mix of physical and free time for the level of concentration he needs.
