Today, Kiefer rose with intent to ‘get out to the field’ – so first thing, after breakfast, we spent some much-needed free play time up on the field.
Afterwards we went home for brunch and then did some fun planting. Our sunflowers needed potting on and we needed to fill some pots for some new seeds later tonight or tomorrow.
We cleaned up our mess and Kiefer wanted to build a boat to drink his water in.
Later in the evening, before bedtime, Kiefer got to go back out to the field for more football but this time with his sister, brother and mum and dad. He loves to kickabout and runabout and the past month he has started to line us all up on one goal line for a race. He asked us, one by one, to line up for his race and he moves us around until we are in his preferred order. Then one of us calls Ready, Steady and….. Go – we race the entire length of the football pitch over to the other goal line and repeat more races, many times. Good for all our fitness levels!
Mega day, early bed tonight I think lad!
