Today was a really good day for Kiefer. He’s been developing so much lately, and it really showed today.
For his home haircut, we used both the razor and the scissors, and he dealt with it with no problem at all.
It was still stressful for him, but he handled that stress calmly and confidently, and we were so impressed with how he managed the whole thing.
Plus, he really liked his new cut!

Later, he also went to the dentist for a checkup, which needed some bravery as well.
Kiefer had never seen a dentist before but was eager to go.
He enjoyed the new environment, switching off lights and taking away the doorstop and shutting the door, much to the amusement of the dentist waiting room.

He was asked in to the dentist room and went straight for the dentists reclining chair, led back and put his head on the rest.
He was told he was brushing really well and we were doing a good job and to carry on that way, no need to come back for 6 months.
Once again, he coped really well. Two big, demanding things in one day, and he got through both of them so solidly – we’re incredibly proud of him.
